License Types for Concrete Contractors
Colorado uses a tiered licensing system. A Class A General Contractor license covers the broadest range of work including structural concrete. Class B and C licenses cover smaller-scope work. Many legitimate concrete-only contractors hold a specialty trade license specifically for flatwork and concrete installation — this is perfectly valid for driveways, patios, and most residential concrete work.
